For those of you that never got to enjoy the laugh riot known as Alf, I will spread it out clearly for you. An alien crash lands into the shed of a man and his family. He is 3 feet tall and covered in red/brown fur. He is a traveler wanting to return home to his planet Melmac which you don't discover for over half of the pilot has recently been destroyed. He enjoys eating cats and drinking beer in addition to making life very awkward and unusual for the Tanner family.

Of course there is the nosy neighbor, the government that is always right down the road (or so it seems) and the non-stop craziness that comes with harboring an alien. The show aired for 4 seasons and 102 episodes starting in September of '86 and ending in March of 1990.

I came into Alf later than its first air date, as I was still pretty young, but the comedy came through even then. The show gave everyone that watched it enough to either laugh themselves silly or enjoy a heartwarming moment that only TV families can bring to heart.

For those that miss this show or those that missed out you can check it out here at hulu. They have seasons 1-3 in glorious 480p hi-res.

I encourage you all to at least watch the pilot and understand the sheer comic genius that came about here.
