Arise Lazuris....

The world grew dark for Lazuris Kaen, he had been tricked by the man they called Doctor. The poison he was injected with was fast working, and had begun to work itself into Kaen's body as quickly as the needle was withdrawn. Clutching at his neck he felt his body begin to collapse as he fell to his side unable to stop the car that had brought him there from driving away. His vision began to fade and his heart stopped. Lazuris Kaen lay dead.
Waiting for his imminent undertaker, the Ventrue was less than anxious to find out what became of the unliving once they died. It was a painful transition, much like giving birth or having one's own heart ripped from his chest. By far the most intense pain Kaen had felt to date. "This isn't right." Kaen thought to himself. "They always said death was quiet...peaceful. Not painful!"
As his thoughts drug out like his body on the concrete he saw a soft white light forming a beacon on the horizon. It grew brighter and more full with the passing moments and Kaen began to fear, in his mind he knew more than anything. This was the sun. Feeling his body scorching from the heat he screamed at the top of his lungs. A guttural growl echoed out of him, far more bestial than anything he had heard from himself prior to this moment. This is the end of Lazuris Kaen.

Several hours drift by in the mortal world, though to the vampire they seem as lifetimes. In his mind he was still burning, unable to fully die. A punishment fit for the kindred that are unfortunate enough to see their end come to them.
As his body burned he felt a calming cool overwhelm him. His burns were worse than any he had ever felt, but they were subsiding. "Arise Lazuris. Greet the day as death has no hold on you here." A darkened honey voice poured into his ears. "The Doctor was unwise to pick a fight with one of my childer. Perhaps he has gone as mad as they say he has or perhaps he is among the many that think I am among the dead." A heavy hand rest upon Lazuris' burnt scalp and massaged the regrowing skin. "You will be able to walk again by the next moon rise and at full strength by the end of the week. Until then rest. Gather your thoughts. You have a great weapon at your side now. The evils of the city think you are dead."
The low hum of his voice was soothing and inspiring as he paced about the room. Lazuris couldn't speak, only listen and accept. His life had been saved by none other that the Grim Reaper himself. His Sire, Joseph Grim.

When we were creating the character he asked me what the Backgrounds of Status and Mentor were. I told him and when he seemed interested I told him where to place points for the most useful stuff to happen.
The points he had granted him a Sire of famous/Infamous status within the city. It also granted him some mid level fame among the vampires of the city. This would normally mean that he was some sort of badass, but I went a different route and made him be seen as something amazing because he was one of the few people Joseph sired.
Since per the world's ideal Joseph is dead, it made it very easy to work him in this way.

Like mike said I wanted to make a guy that was pretty well known. I also wanted a sire that was of the up most badass because I had no clue of anyone in this game. I have been blessed
