so i noticed the new patch went in so what the fawk did they do the spell damage and +healing?

They made all bonus healing and damage just become +spell power.... which means that alot of spell damage items have actually become better for healing then healing pieces.

its not just one kind of gear. there are different variations of the caster gear using different combos of +hit, +crit, +haste, +penetration,+mp5. so dps might want +hit/+crit, where the healers might want +haste/+mp5. also there are differing amounts of spirit and int on gear to take into account. In general there will be healer oriented and dps oriented gear. not just a hodgepodge of shit for 3+ classes to fight over.

Yea, suppose your right scar, they are still designating certain gear in WotLK... but it still feels like they just throw all the stuff together.


BTW, I went Titan's Grip Fury with dual wielded Troll's Bane's.... totally going to post a pic soon, cause its awesome.

But Blade storm for PvP seriously.

Oh and D... all the rumors you may have heard about ret pallies. ITS TRUE. Those bastards are fucking OP as hell right now. The nerf stick will come down most severely on them soon. We made a 3v3 team of 2 ret pallies and me as blade storm... yea, we owned.

i still think that holy priests are gonna get fucked out of a lot of gear because spriests and arcane mages will both want the spirit and mp5

I have to admit, Pallies rock now. PvP'ers are just having to get used to the idea that we are viable DPS'ers now. We still don't match up to what the clothies can do. Rest assured, once the learning curb stabalizes and the casters get their game down, the arenas will belong to them once again.

I'm just loving the PvE atm, we are having a blast!

I completely disagree. In every raid I have been in since the patch, including sunwell, BT, Mount Hyjal, TK, and ZA... we have always had a ret pally. And every time, the ret pally has topped damage, and in many scenarios they have also gone pretty high up on our healing meters do to their abilities. Warlocks were nerfed beyond belief. Before the patch, my friend jerica was dropping an easy 12-13k dps, and now, since they buffed only fire, and fire is kind of "eh" for pve, she has shot down to about 800 dps. Mages were also nerfed alot. They are still decent dps, but all specs do just about the same thing now.

Most buffed: Pallies, Warriors, Priest, Shaman
Moderate Buff: Druid, Rogue
Least Buffed: Warlock, Mages
